Steven Hixson
Over his career, Mr. Hixson has developed a comprehensive understanding of the project delivery process. In addition to hands on management of a wide variety of projects, his advice is often sought to solve problems, devise effective management structures, develop innovative project delivery strategies and, at times, to intervene in troubled projects. Mr. Hixson is active in all projects and takes primary responsibility for real estate development and transactions, entitlement coordination and budget coordination
Prior to establishing Hixson & Associates he practiced architecture for 17 years in several major Architecture and Development firms acting both as project manager and as business manager with overall responsibility for all aspects of the business. Mr. Hixson holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics and Masters Degree in Architecture from UCLA and UC Berkeley respectively.
Bob Borinstein (R. Borinstein Company)
Mr. Borinstein takes primary responsibility for Project Management and Construction Management. He has been associated with Hixson & Associates for more than ten years and has 30 years of experience in construction as a general contractor project manager and estimator. Projects include office buildings, restoration of historic structures, a new gymnasium, library, and theater facilities for private schools, high end tenant improvements, computer data center and a collegiate athletic training facility.
Marty Zwick (Zwick Architects)
Mr. Zwick is the principal of an architectural firm located in Sausalito California. Zwick Architects has branch offices in San Diego and Victoria Canada. Mr. Zwick has collaborated with Hixson & Associates since our inception providing planning, conceptual design, entitlement support and full architectural services for a wide variety of development opportunities and construction projects. Zwick Architects gives us a reliable “in-house” architectural capability.
Miranda Hixson-Hanna (Milkwood Designs)
Ms. Hixson-Hanna is principal of Milkwood Designs, providing innovative design services and specialized installations for office interiors, primarily in the technology and start-up sector. Miranda Hixson-Hanna has been associated with Hixson & Associates for 35 years.
